PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Serve Alliance LLC ("Serve Alliance," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you visit our website at servealliance.com, submit our membership application, or receive communications from us, including SMS text messages.
By using our website or providing us with your information, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information you provide directly to us. This includes:
- Contact information: your full name, business name, email address, mobile phone number, and the city and state where you operate your business.
- Application information: the category of services your business provides, your market territory, and any additional notes or comments you include with your application.
- Communication preferences: your consent to receive SMS text messages from Serve Alliance, and any subsequent changes to that consent.
- Correspondence: the content of messages you send us via email, SMS, our website contact form, or other channels.
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website:
- Device information: browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
- Log data: your IP address, pages viewed, the pages you visited before arriving at ours, and timestamps of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small data files placed on your device that help our website function correctly. See Section 6 below for details.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To process and evaluate your membership application;
- To communicate with you about your application, including sending you SMS messages related to your application status (only if you have opted in to SMS);
- To onboard you as a member if your application is approved and to provide ongoing member services, including facilitating referrals within the Serve Alliance network;
- To send you operational and service-related communications about your Serve Alliance membership;
- To improve our website, services, and communications;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems;
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. SMS MESSAGING PROGRAM
Serve Alliance operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with applicants and members. This section describes how our SMS program works.
3.1 Your consent
You must expressly opt in to receive SMS messages from Serve Alliance. On our application form, you must check a clearly labeled, unchecked-by-default consent box before you can submit the form. By checking this box and submitting the form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Serve Alliance at the mobile phone number you provide.
ONE-TO-ONE CONSENT: Your consent to receive SMS messages applies solely to Serve Alliance. We do not sell, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS consent, or your SMS content to any third parties, affiliates, or partners for their own marketing purposes. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or of the evaluation of your membership application.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions in Section 3.5 below.
3.2 Types of messages you may receive
If you opt in, you may receive the following types of SMS messages from Serve Alliance:
- Confirmation that we have received your membership application;
- Updates about the status of your application;
- Onboarding information if your application is approved;
- Operational messages about your Serve Alliance membership;
- Notifications related to referrals within the Serve Alliance network (if you are an approved member);
- Occasional messages about member services, changes to our program, or important operational updates.
You will not receive promotional messages advertising third-party products or services.
3.3 Message frequency
Message frequency varies. During the application and onboarding period, you may receive several messages within a short time. Once you are an established member, message frequency will typically be lower and driven by your engagement with the Serve Alliance platform (for example, when a referral is submitted or received).
3.4 Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and mobile service plan. Serve Alliance does not charge you for the messages themselves. Please contact your mobile carrier for information about the charges that may apply to text messages received from us.
3.5 How to opt out
You can withdraw your consent and stop receiving SMS messages from Serve Alliance at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further SMS messages from Serve Alliance unless you opt in again.
You may also contact us at [email protected] to request that we stop sending you SMS messages.
3.6 How to get help
For assistance with the Serve Alliance SMS program, reply HELP to any Serve Alliance SMS message. You may also contact us at [email protected].
3.7 Supported carriers
The Serve Alliance SMS program is available on major U.S. mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and their affiliates.
3.8 Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3.9 Confirmation of opt-in
After you check the SMS consent box and submit our application form, we will send you a single confirmation SMS message to verify that we received your opt-in and to introduce you to the Serve Alliance SMS program. This confirmation message is standard and is expected under mobile carrier policies.
4. REFERRALS WITHIN THE NETWORK
Serve Alliance facilitates business referrals between approved members. When an approved member submits a customer referral through the Serve Alliance platform, they represent that the customer has consented to be contacted by another member of the Serve Alliance network in response to a service request the customer has made.
If you are a customer whose contact information has been submitted as a referral by a Serve Alliance member:
- Your information was provided to us by a Serve Alliance member (typically a business owner you were speaking with) at the point you requested a referral for a service.
- Your information will be shared with one Serve Alliance member — the member assigned to the service category you requested — for the sole purpose of that member contacting you to serve your request.
- Your information will not be sold or shared for any marketing purpose.
- If you did not consent to be referred, or if you wish us to delete your information, please contact us at [email protected].
Customer referral information is treated as confidential and is not used to enroll customers in any SMS program without their separate, explicit consent.
5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: With trusted vendors and service providers who help us operate Serve Alliance, such as our CRM platform, hosting provider, email provider, and communications platform. These service providers are contractually required to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes for which we engage them.
- Member matching: If you are approved as a Serve Alliance member, your business name, contact information, and category will be shared with other approved members within your market so they can send you referrals.
- Legal compliance: When required by applicable law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of some or all of our assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With your consent: For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information and with your consent.
WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR MOBILE PHONE NUMBER OR SMS OPT-IN CONSENT WITH ANY THIRD PARTY FOR THEIR OWN MARKETING PURPOSES.

7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:
- Application information: If your application is approved, we retain your information for the duration of your Serve Alliance membership and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business record purposes. If your application is not approved, we retain your information for up to 24 months for administrative purposes.
- SMS opt-in and opt-out records: We retain records of your SMS opt-in consent and any opt-out requests for a minimum of ten (10) years, as required by applicable telecommunications regulations.
- Correspondence: We retain the content of correspondence with you for a reasonable period necessary for customer service and legal purposes.
When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
8. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We restrict access to your information to employees, contractors, and service providers who need it to perform their functions.
Despite our safeguards, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission of information is at your own risk.
